We chose the name War Pony Leather to recognize and celebrate early American frontier culture and Native American heritage. The War Pony was the Native American warriors best pony. And so adopting the War Pony name indicates quality. We strive to provide creative designs in high quality materials for a reasonable price.

Our products are all original designs in contemporary, boho chic, and Native American inspired styles. We also design and manufacture goods from leather, antler, and horn for the shooting sports and reenactors.  We also build knives. All our products are handmade, one at a time.

In the 1970's we started making holsters and gun belts.

Then we moved on in the 1980's to make Native American inspired regalia, buckskin dresses, war shirts, leggings and moccasins.

2018 found us  selling at craft markets adding modern accessories, jewelry, handbags and guitar straps.
